Conditions of Contract Activation
The health insurance contract takes effect on the dates indicated in your contract, subject to the payment of the premium.

At the expiration of the contract, it will only be renewed upon the insured's request and the approval of the insurance company.

The contract is concluded for a fixed term, with no tacit renewal, and cannot be canceled or refunded during the coverage period.

Regarding the coverage of medical expenses:

  • Medical expenses related to illness (consultations, medical care, etc.) will be covered after a waiting period of 8 days from the contract's effective date.

  • In the case of hospitalization, coverage will begin after 45 days for contracts lasting one year and will be limited to a maximum duration of 30 days per contract period. For contracts lasting 4 to 6 months, this waiting period is reduced to 30 days, and for contracts lasting between 21 days and 3 months, it is reduced to 8 days.

  • Any illness discovered during these waiting periods will not be covered.

  • In the case of an accident, there is no waiting period, and coverage is immediate.

Important exclusions regarding health coverage:

  • Expenses related to contraception, voluntary termination of pregnancy (abortion), pregnancy, and complications arising from pregnancy (miscarriage, childbirth and post-delivery care, including consultations, tests, ultrasounds) will not be reimbursed during the first year.

  • In the case of maternity, the coverage will only apply if conception occurred after 12 months of uninterrupted contract coverage.


Contract renewal:

In the case of contract renewal, if re-enrollment occurs within 8 days after the expiration of the previous contract, the waiting periods will be waived. However, if additional coverage options are added, these waiting periods will only apply to the additional coverage.

The following documents must be submitted within 3 months from the contract's expiration date:

  • Your certificate number (registration).

  • Medical bills and invoices from healthcare facilities.

  • Original prescriptions and medical forms filled out in the insured's name, including the stickers for the corresponding medications.


In case of hospitalization, surgery, radiography, or medical treatment: request a medical certificate to be filled out by your doctor.
